Karla Krogstad earned degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music, the University of Connecticut, and the Eastman School of Music. Before founding the Bach Children's Chorus, she was organist and choir director at the Genesee Baptist Church in Rochester. She is certified in the Orff Methodology of teaching, and is a composer of arrangements for children's voices. Mrs. Krogstad also teaches private piano and voice lesson out of her home.
