Founded by its current director, Karla Krogstad, in 1989, the EBCC
maintains a very busy performance schedule. The children sing with
numerous organizations in the Rochester area. Some recent collaborations
include performances with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra,
Mitzie Collins and the Sampler Trio, Eastman Philharmonia, Opera
Theater of Rochester, the Penfield Symphony, the Brighton Symphony,
the Rochester Bach Festival, and the Irondequoit Chorale.

The Chorus has sung with the Rochester Chamber Orchestra under
the direction of David Fetler, performing Handel's Messiah
every Christmas season for the past several years. In addition to
English and the Latin of Messiah, the children have sung in several
other languages, including Spanish, German, Korean, and French.
Every year, the chorus travels to sing and sightsee, often at historic
locations such as Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore.
